What Is an Asian Handicap?

An Asian handicap gives one team a virtual head start to balance a mismatch.

For example, at -0.5 the favorite must win the match for the bet to succeed. At -1.0, a one-goal win refunds the stake (push), and a two-goal win pays out.

Quarter lines like -0.75 split your stake across two adjacent lines.
